Digital Photography students are getting creative with Polaroid Emulsion Lifts. This process involves separating the emulsion from a Polaroid photo, leaving behind a delicate, translucent image.
Mount Everett Middle School ended the first week with a team-building "field day" .

Welcome back! We are so excited to begin the 2023-2024 school year.
6th grade students officially "signed on" as Mount Everett Eagles this morning in a special ceremony welcoming them to the middle school. Mr. Carpenter demonstrated handshake etiquette before recognizing each student as they accepted their new role in the Mount Everett family.
Yesterday, Dr. Bill Daggett attended our Opening Day as our special guest speaker and some of our students joined us in welcoming back and introducing staff members. Thank you, to elementary student Rowyyn Frankel, who did a great job with her speech!

The Class of '73 just held their 50th reunion! Roughly 40 classmates and 15 spouses traveled from places such as Alaska, California, Washington State, Georgia, Colorado, Michigan, and even Switzerland to reconnect with their old classmates.

We can't believe there are only 4 more weeks until the first day of school! It feels like it was just yesterday that some of our students were returning from a 10-day educational tour that took them to Florence, Verona, Venice, Assisi, Rome, Pisa, Pompeii, Sorrento, and Capri! We are looking forward to seeing smiling faces walk through our halls again soon.
Seven Mount Everett artists will be featured in the "How Shall We Live" exhibit at the Berkshire Art Center on August 4th, for First Friday in Pittsfield! Ella Robitaille, Jade Brown, Brody Kinna, Joe Giumarro, Madison Van Deusen, Lucia Cicerchia, and Siobhan Fedel answered a call for climate art organized by Living the Change Berkshires.
The opening reception is this Friday, August 4th from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at the Berkshire Art Center in Pittsfield-- 141 North Street. NAHS member Ella Robitaille's piece was chosen for the poster design!
