Graphic Design

Mount Everett's Art Department places high value on the integration of design and critical thinking. Our graphic design classes are taught by Kari Giordano who received her BFA in graphic design from the School of Fine and Performing Arts at SUNY New Patlz and has 7+ years experience in print design.

The graphic design program stresses concept and development of ideas while training students to use current industry standard software and technology. Students who complete the courses learn the basics of design such as aesthetics, typography, content and meaning, and communication.

The Adobe Creative Suite is used for most projects throughout the program.
