The SBRSD Choral program is one of the top comprehensive choral programs in Berkshire County. At Undermountain Elementary we have choirs at the 3rd+4th grade level, as well as the 5th+6th grade level. Mt. Everett Middle and High School has a Middle School Chorus, a High School Chorus, a madrigal ensemble, Dial-Tones (a men's pop group), and Retro (a women's pop group).
This past October Mt. Everett hosted the South County Choral Festival, in which The Berkshire School and Monument Mountain Regional High School choruses participated in individual singing as well as a group sing. The event was a success and we are looking at doing it again in the future.
In 2012 the High School Chorus has participated with the local Cantilena Chamber Choir in a concert of the music of Monteverdi. In 2011, the Mt. Everett Madrigals won the first ever Lenox Caroling Festival, in which the prize was $2,000 for the choral program.
