Teacher Technology Levels

LEVEL COMPETENCIES
Developing Able to use basic computing (booting up, shutting down, logging in, accessing start menu), windows operating system, Internet, e-mail, word processing. basic administration tools (grade books, IEP, electronic assessments, etc.)
*Proficient Able to use productivity tools for professional and classroom activities (slide shows, graphics, digital cameras, scanners, view and access video and audio content, etc.)
Advanced Able to use technology tools in a project based environment that is aligned with MASS standards (create a web site, incorporate multi-media, communication tools, spreadsheets, databases, create video and audio content, etc.)
Mentor Able to assist staff as they move through teacher technology levels. (one on one with staff, leading tech workshops, attending advanced training, working with technology director)

*Development through the Proficient level is the district goal for all teachers.
