The
students of the Southern Berkshire Regional School District live in a
society rich with technology and information. To prepare our
students for productive, responsible, and satisfying future roles, they
must consistently experience relevant uses of modern tools for inquiry,
problem-solving, research, and communication. Learning which is
supported by technology will improve the richness and efficiency of
instruction. Students must be guided by district staff that models
and integrates appropriate applications of technology.
The goal of the Technology Integration Specialist is to provide resources, support, and professional development for teachers to successfully integrate technology into a standards-based curriculum. I am here for you! My job is to help you do your job. I am open to any ideas you may have for technology in your classroom, and am willing to help in any way. I will also be conducting professional development sessions in which you will learn specific software and how to develop lessons that integrate technology into your classroom, while earning PDP's.
