Juniors and Seniors at Mount
Everett Regional School have the option to enroll in a half-year or
full-year internship program where they gain real work experience in a career of
their choice. The internship is scheduled to fit into a student's
regular academic schedule. This year, the program has accommodated students'
interests in anything from being active members of a newsroom team at
Berkshire Record to being interns in an operating and emergency room at
Fairview Hospital. The possibilities are limitless. Students
gain real work experience in preparation for college, work, or technical
school. Each semester of an internship earns a student half a
credit toward graduation. Internships can be done both on and
